*innocent and lovable*
i'm losing something in the shadows though..
quick q: do you know what kind of look youre going for, before you start manipulating photos? and do you know how youre going to achieve it - workflow, techniques, etc?
And what do you mean by you're losing something in the shadows?
for the shadow comments, i think i only said that because it reminded me of when i try to scan photos on my el cheapo scanner and its so rubbish it loses any detail or definiton in dark or shadowy areas - [detail gets lost and the dark areas sort of merge into eachother with no definition between them] and its a nightmare trying to get back the information - a personal bugbear
i do honestly like the composition, colours, the subject, and what you've done with it!
And the shadows were rather intended here, so that the focus really is othe subject and not on the floor tile or something. I also think it makes it look more interesting.
And I know what you mean with that shadow problem though-- arghh >< it's a hassle especially in dark areas with no flash.... almost impossible to recover, and if, then only very grainy...
